CHARISSE “C. Wash” WASHINGTON - VP, AUTHOR, ACTOR
C. Wash is the Vice President (The VP) of the Cartel Publications, an extremely successful Independent Urban Fiction Publishing House. Realizing her niche’ in 2006, she slid into the literary industry becoming the manager of best selling author, T. Styles. She was charged with setting up book signings and promoting her novels.
In 2008, she teamed up with Ms. Styles and formed the Cartel Publications. Being the vice president of a thriving indie publishing house is not an easy task, but Charisse revels in pushing her company to new heights.
Being a publisher, people often asked her when would her novel drop. Although she had many ideas for books, she never really had the patience to sit down and pen a complete novel. It wasn't until she attended her partner's seminar in 2012 entitled, "The End. How To Write A Bestselling Novel in 30 Days", and completed the book with the same title, that she got the tips, tools and confidence to start her book.
Her debut novel, "Hersband Material" was released in April 2013. Since then the VP has served as producer on the movies, “Pitbulls in A Skirt”, “Mother Monster”, “It’ll Cost You” and the Web Series, “The Worst of Us” (Seasons 1 & 2).
